I am a consultant clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience working in NHS Child and Adolescent and specialist mental health services. I am currently based at the CAMHS Home Treatment team which is a new service created to treat acutely unwell teenagers at home so helping to prevent inpatient admissions. We are a trauma informed service which treats young people with developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, eating disorders, OCD, anxiety and mood disorders, and emotional dysregulation. I also work at The Darwin Centre for Young People, a specialist inpatient unit for adolescents.

I am a specialist in the assessment and formulation of a wide range of psychological difficulties in adolescence; from mild to the most complex. I have expertise in the assessment of neurodevelopment disorders, assessment and treatment of trauma, and consultation to colleagues on complex presentations. I am a trained in NICE recommended EMDR and CBT trauma therapy and a DBT therapist.

I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Essex and the Tavistock Clinic, London. Prior to this, I obtained a masters degree in psychoanalytic developmental psychology at The Anna Freud Centre and University College London. My undergraduate degree is from Goldsmiths College, University of London.

I currently offer neurodevelopment assessments for children with Cambridge Psychiatry.
